About the city 🌇

Vancouver in Canada can best be described as the globe in a nutshell. How's that? The short answer is that the city simply has everything that a traveling person would like to experience.

Surrounded by coast, sea and the most beautiful mountains, Vancouver is filled with a skyline of glass skyscrapers you usually only see in movies. You would hardly believe it, but in the very same town, you have the opportunity to go to the beach or directly the opposite, namely to ski at some of the city's famous mountains.

Vancouver is not only for those who want a wildly vibrant city life with an amazing skyline, because there is also access to beautiful parks and natural areas where you can enjoy "the scenery" and feel zen with peace of body and mind.

As one of the few North American cities, Vancouver is super bike-friendly with about 1,300 kilometers of bike lanes in the city, which means you can easily get around to various bars, eateries, chinatown and all the incredible places Vancouver has to offer.

Homestay and shared housing

Homestay schemes allow students to live with a Canadian local family.

The student authentically enters Canadian culture by sharing meals with the host family, participating in family activities, conversations, and establishing acquaintances with people who can make your stay and surroundings a lot easier.

Alternatives can also be to find a larger apartment with roommates that you can share the apartment with and create friendships that will definitely make your stay more enjoyable. If you find homestay or shared accommodation interesting, you should definitely take a look at the links below:
