About the city 🌇

Prague, is a wonderful city with its special characteristic architecture, which makes it very easy to fall for the city. Prague is brilliantly constructed so that almost everything is in walking distance, thanks to the construction around Prague city centre. Something that has helped make Prague an ultimate student city & nightlife is definitely the student-friendly prices.

In particular, in the many restaurants, bars and the vibrantly familiar nightlife, the city is known for its many music festivals. If you have enjoyed a little too much of the local tasty beer, for which the Czech Republic is known for and which in some cases is cheaper than a bottle of water, you can easily venture into quieter areas. Prague has beautiful rivers, parks and natural areas that can provide peace of mind, but should you need an adrenaline kick, you can easily book a river rafting trip.

There is much to see and experience in Prague, but some points that satisfy cultural purposes are certainly the following:

  • Prague Castle
  • The Charles Bridge
  • Old Town Square with the Prague astronomical clock
  • The Jewish Quarter
  • The Saint Nicholas Baroque Church
  • Church of Our Lady Victorious and Infant Jesus of  Prague
  • Písek Gate
  • The Franz Kafka Museum
  • Kampa Island - with a view of the Charles Bridge.

On-campus

All UNYP students live primarily on the institution's collaborators within student housing, which is located 15-30 minutes from the campus itself. The homes are located in historic buildings that have recently been renovated. The entire building is equipped with Wi-Fi and laundromats and is close to several supermarkets.

All student accommodations already has bed, bed cover, blanket, towels, wardrobe, desk and chairs. The kitchen is a shared kitchen with all standard equipment included. The common area is primarily used as a study lounge for the resident students.

Homes are available in different sizes depending on whether you want to stay with a roomie or with a group of 4-6 students who want to share a student accommodation.
