The temperature in winter is typically 13-21 Celsius, whereas summer time is 27-34 Celsius daily. This creates the perfect opportunities to eating tapas in the countless eateries, having a drink in the local Spanish bars and enjoying beach trips.

If you're into art and culture, you're in the right place. Valencia, is well known for its museums and historical monuments which mean that you will never have to lack cultural experiences in the city. If you are a fan of events and sports, you can also look forward to it. The city often hosts local traditions and festivals, which make the city a party-loving city with good vibes all year round. On weekends, the mood turnes up when the Spanish team, Valencia C.F., plays its matches in the best Spanish series at the magnificent stadium, Estadio Mestalla.

Valencia is not only a huge tourist magnet due to all the elements the city offers, but is actually also a super popular city to settle in due to the high quality of life, and the cost of living which is lower than many other places in Europe.

What is the tuition and requirements for study abroad (exchange) students?

The study abroad (exchange student) programme will often have a different tuition fee and lower entry requirements. In addition, there might be a specific course catalog for study abroad exchange students. Book a call with a Uniclub advisor who will present you the requirements for single semester study abroad students, and how to navigate within the course catalog.

Additionally, you might be able to get exempt from taking a TOEFL or IELTS test as a study abroad (exchange) student. A Uniclub advisor will advise you on which universities have more flexbile English proficiency requirements.

What are the Semester Start Dates?

Universidad Europea uses a semester system for both full-degree students and semester abroad students studying to receive credit towards their home degree system. The semester system is equivalent in course load and duration to a three-trimester system. Students can start their studies in January or September.

What are the Entry Requirements?

To apply for courses and programmes at Universidad Europea, you must meet the general and specific entry requirements. And for some features, you also have to go through some tests.


Documents required from students to apply to Universidad Europea are:

  • Official copies of secondary school transcripts showing courses taken throughout the year and grades received (English version of the document)
  • Award Certificates
  • Passport
  • Health Insurance (OSHC is a minimum requirement)
  • A CV and a motivational letter
  • Evidence of English proficiency if you are a non-native English-speaking student.

You have the possibility of proving your English proficiency at Universidad Europea through their internal assessment.

Universidad Europea's English assessment test will indicate your current level and allow the admissions office to evaluate how you will improve over time.

This test consists of:

  • Knowledge of grammar and vocabulary
  • Listening comprehension

What are the Tuition Fees?

Tuition fees for international students at Universidad Europea vary depending on the course you choose. The tuition fee at Universidad Europea ranges from 9.200 EUR to 24.000 EUR per year for international students.


The tuition fee for a study abroad semester at Universidad Europea for 4 units which equals to 30 ECTS is approx. 4000 EUR.
