The purpose of the fund is to provide support for general, charitable, human, artistic or scientific purposes. To provide support for further education of theoretical or practical nature and for study abroad. According to the Fund's articles of association, applicants for obtaining support for educational purposes must have or have had an attachment relationship with the natural area of scope for the former Aalborg Diskontobank A/S (later Provincial Bank's North Jutland area). Those concerned must be decent, well -recommended persons who may make it probable that they have the ability and willingness to complete the intended education.
