England is home to some of the world’s greatest universities. That’s thanks to the UK’s unique style of teaching, which consists in boosting the critical thinking skills of the students and exposes them to new technologies, emerging theories and a fascinating range of opinions. Generations of international students have come to the UK for their education, which means that British universities have decades of experience inworking with international students. Alongside developing the study skills, academic knowledge and English language skills, the education in the UK will be recognised internationally - meaning you will be able to pursue your desired career wherever you want.

2.     Culturally diverse

The UK is known for its cultural diversity. You will find yourself into a multicultural society.

According to the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA), the UK is the second most popular study destination in the world. Studying in a culturally diverse country will give you an understanding of different perspectives within the world we live in. You will be able to share your language skills with others, discover new ways of thinking, new knowledge and new experiences.

You will be able to explore the wide range of the cuisines, where a taste of home will never be too far away. And you will be able to enjoy a big number of music festivals, food festivals, dance festivals and many others.

You will also be surrounded by fellow international students, so you will not be the only one in this situation. You will be able to build a global network of friends.

3.     Financial benefits

You may think that the tuition fees in England are a bit expensive, but they are smaller compared to other countries like Canada or Australia. Besides, four out of five international graduates say that UK degree ‘is worth the investment’.

In UK it takes less time to attain a degree compared to other countries. Therefore, you can payless in tuition fees than in other countries.

It takes only 3 years to complete an undergraduate degree and 1 year for a postgraduate degree in the UK. Whereas, in most other countries, it takes no less than four years for an undergraduate degree and 2 or 3 years to complete a postgraduate degree.

Also, international students who study a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate degree course at a recognised university are allowed to work part-time during term for up to 20 hours a week and full-time during the holidays. This will help get a bit of financial freedom.

4.    Travel connections

Getting to mainland Europe from the UK is easier than ever before. Whether it’s by plane with a low-cost company or train, studying in the UK allows you to reach other parts of Europe in a matter of hours. Take advantage of studying in the UK and explore different countries and cultures. Plus, with summer breaks of between 12 and 14 weeks, you’ll have plenty of time!

One of the main benefits of studying in England is that you will get to develop your English language skills in an English-speaking country. Throughout your undergraduate degree, you will be advancing your English language skills through academic studying and student life. Also, as there’s a big international community at most universities in the UK, you’ll be surrounded by people who are also learning English and they’ll be a great support if you ever need it.
